Everyone is Lying (by D. E. White)

I looked forward to reading this book and exploring the story of a young woman struggling to keep her secrets in the past hidden. While the characters were well developed, I just did not enjoy reading about them or have the desire to get to know them through the pages. There are some deep subjects covered in the book, including murder, death, and grief. The focus of money over anything else in life was a little disturbing and made me dislike Alexandra and her unwillingness to accept responsibility was disheartening. I just did not enjoy this as much as I had hoped. But you may find you connect with the story and characters in a way that this would be a good read for you.
