Everyone a Stranger (by Kevin O'Brien)

I love historical fiction books and especially when they take place during WWII. This book was a little different focus because it takes place in the United States. Whenever I open up a Kevin O’Brien book, I know I will be on a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns. From loss to rape to murder to fear to secrets ... you will experience a myriad of emotions. This story will have you invested from the first page and will not let go until, exhausted, you will close the book. I am a huge fan of Kevin O’Brien and he continues to wow me with his gift of words.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
