Getting immersed in the pages of the first book in the Lighthouse Cove series by Kate Hewitt filled my mind with vivid pictures of the setting. This is definitely somewhere I would escape to if I needed to get away! The primary characters, Grace and Noah, will pull you into the story and want to discover what has happened in their lives to have them crave the quiet and isolation of the cove. There are several supporting characters you will love as they are part of Grace or Noah’s lives. This is an emotional read of loss, grief, family, domestic abuse, a sense of community, and the ability to open up to possible friendships or love. A story of new beginnings to start the new beginning of this series.
