I enjoy reading historical fiction books that are set during WWII. The characters are well developed and this story will tug at your heart. I was not familiar with the Women’s Land Army. So I enjoyed discovering about it. Edie’s willingness to fight to end the horrors of WWII was admirable. Life on the farm makes for some touching moments.
