Death of a Flying Nightingale ~ Nightingale Mystery #1 (by Laura Jensen Walker)

I really enjoy reading historical fiction books that are set during WWII. I enjoyed learning about the Flying Nightingales who were air ambulance nurses who aided wounded soldiers. While presented as a murder mystery, the book does not cover that until almost halfway through. There are some sensitive subjects discussed and the topic of homosexuality will be offensive to some. A slow start to the book, but it does pick up eventually. This book just did not appeal to me.
