Death of a Cupcake Queen ~ Hayley Powell Food and Cocktails #6 (by Lee Hollis)

I have loved all of the books in the Hayley Powell Food and Cocktails series by Lee Hollis. In fact, I enjoyed the later books so much that I went back and read the earlier books. The characters are well developed and the murder mystery will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. I love Hayley’s family and her BFFs. Her brother-in-law, Sergio has you chuckling as he tries to say certain colloquialisms but ends up butchering them because English is not his first language!  In fact, sometimes I try to figure out what he really means before reading what Hayley or her brother say to correct Sergio. While you could this as a standalone, I strongly encourage you to go back and read the first five books in the series. It is definitely worth your time!
