Death by Chocolate Pumpkin Muffin ~ Death by Chocolate #8 (by Sarah Graves)

I have loved all of the previous books I have read in the Death by Chocolate series. However, I did not connect with this one as much as the earlier books. There was so much going on and it was hard to keep my attention focused on the characters and all of the activity scattered throughout the pages. Some of the overly wordy descriptions were unnecessary and it felt like the author had to produce a book with a certain number of words ... and they were added just to hit the quota. While I did not care for this particular book in the series, I will definitely be on the lookout for the next installment of adventures with Jacobia “Jake,” Ellie, and the rest of the gang in Eastport.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
