Death at an Irish Wedding ~ Irish Castle #2 (by Ellie Brannigan)

I am thoroughly enjoying the books in the Irish Castle series. And I really like listening to the audiobook versions to hear the Irish accent for the characters who are from Ireland. The narrator does a wonderful job of going back and forth between the American accent and that of the Irish characters. The mystery is set up well and you will be drawn into the drama of a wedding with a lot of difficult individuals. There are definitely a lot of egos Rayne and Clara have to deal with ... but they do it with such professional finesse. I just wish I could have seen pictures of the fabulous wedding dress with Swarovski crystals. I imagine it was beyond belief! Lots of twists and turns and clues that may lead you to figure out who is guilty as you flip through the pages quickly to see if you are right. This is a wonderful series and I can’t wait to spend more time with the people of Ireland and McGrath Castle.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
