Crescent City Christmas Chaos ~ Vintage Cookbook #4 (by Ellen Byron)

While this is the 4th book in the Vintage Cookbook series, it is the first one I have read. And though I enjoyed it, I think it would have appealed to me more if I had read the first three books. However, that is something I will remedy. The book is filled with great characters, a delightful setting (in New Orleans), delicious food, a taste of the history of the area, and a murder mystery. That is a recipe for success! There are some nail biting moments sprinkled throughout the pages with lots of twists and turns that will keep your attention and have you invested in the story. I cannot wait for the next book in the series and will definitely read the earlier books before I do.
