Booked on Murder ~ Haunted Library #8 (by Allison Brook)

My heart is so sad that this is the last book in the Haunted Library series. But I respect the author, Allison Brook, if she feels she has taken the cast of characters as far as she feels she can. But I will miss Carrie, Dylan, and the rest of the people of Clover Ridge, CT. The murder mystery will pull you in and all of the twists and turns will have you flipping through the pages absorbing every word. A lot is going on and Carrie, as is typical, is in the thick of it. She is also trying to solve the murder mystery but also find closure and absolution for someone who was wrongly accused of murder more than 400 years ago. While you could read this book as a standalone, I encourage you to grab the first book and experience one adventure after another in the haunted library.

Every Precious and Fragile Thing (by Barbara Davis)

I have enjoyed previous books by the author, Barbara Davis. However, this one just did not do it for me. I did not like the character … at all!! … and the story did not pull me in and have me invested

After Paris (by Mary Ellen Taylor)

This book has a lot of very positive reviews. So let me preface mine by suggesting you read it to see if it appeals to you. This was just a horrible read for me. It was a lot of smut and explicit sexu
