Bone Park ~ The Grand-Mafia #1 (by Sandy Robson)

The synopsis of this book caught my attention, and I thought it would be a good read. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I do not typically enjoy books with long drawn-out chapters. I feel like I just trudging through the pages and not making any progress. The characters did not appeal to me and the way the police were misaligned disturbed me. As the mother of a police officer, I know I'm a little sensitive to that type of behavior. Though advertised as a fast-paced comedy, this definitely missed the mark. This was a one and done series for me.

Thank you to the author and Book Funnel for my advanced review copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
