What a wonderful cozy mystery series. I was thrilled to discover the prequel to the series so that I could get background on the characters that I have come to love. This is a wonderful way to start the series if you have not had the opportunity to read any of the books yet. And even if you have ... it’s worth it to learn more about Cat and how she ended up doing what she loves ... writing and running the writer’s retreat. There are lots of twists and turns as you work along with Cat to discover who is guilty of committing murder. Just a delightful series with a wonderful set of characters that you will enjoy getting to know. Put this on your to-be-read list and get lost along with the characters in the small town of Covington College.
