I have not read the first book in the Bookbinding series. However, I will probably go back and read it. And, to be honest, I believe you can read the second book and not be lost in the story. Lots of twists and turns will keep your attention. The characters are well developed and I enjoyed the relationship between Quinn and her cousin who is a nun. And who doesn’t love a German Shepherd companion. A fun cozy mystery that has you guessing until the end.
